This reminded me: I used to have 2 Kawasaki JS550's (stand up jet ski). I didn't have a garage and thusly chained the trailer to a tree. Came out one morning and the skis were gone, trailer was still there. Got a call from local sheriff a few days later that they had found them.... One sticking out of the trunk of an old Cadillac and the other on the roof.

That is so unbelievably stupid and dangerous. If I were a cop, I'd pull his ass over, and throw the book at him. Every single charge that could apply, maximum fines, and I'd request his license be suspended for 6 months.
